How to Cope with Inlaws
When dealing with in-laws that don't like you, there is one thing to do. Allow your in-laws to have their opinion and respect their views. Never try to win them over with reasoning, instead try to avoid situations that may be uncomfortable for you. Asking your in-laws, why they resent you can be a battle that you're not ready to face. Honestly, only time and respect can heal a broken relationship with in-laws.
Each person has their own opinion, right or wrong they are entitled to their feelings. So, don't take your frustrations out on your spouse, because it isn't their fault. All this will do, is cause problems in your relationship and possibly cause a break up in the marriage. If you are unsure of why his or her family doesn't like you, then you may ask your spouse. But, don't try to defend yourself, since he or she is the one with the problem.
